She Disappeared Last Year After Leaving Her Home Late At Night Wearing Only A Nightgown With No Shoes
Nicole Baldwin, a resident of Mount Dora, Florida, is a mother of three children, who are 20, 14, and 11-years-old. In 2023, she was 41-years-old, married to her husband, and living with her family on Strathmore Circle – which is located in the Lancaster subdivision of Mount Dora, Florida.
At the time, Nicole was reportedly suffering from mental health issues. So, she’d been prescribed medications for both depression and anxiety.
However, none of her loved ones expected what happened the evening of November 2, 2023, when she mysteriously disappeared.
The day before, November 1, Nicole and her family had been celebrating her eldest daughter’s twentieth birthday. Yet, the very next night, Nicole’s daughter was the last person to ever see or hear from her again.
That evening, her daughter, Alisha, claimed that nothing seemed out of the ordinary whatsoever.
“When I last saw her, she was in my brother’s room with my brother. It was kind of a normal night,” she recalled.
But, at 11:30 p.m., Nicole reportedly walked out of her family’s home wearing only a nightgown and no shoes on. Then, she disappeared and has remained missing ever since.
Nicole’s family contacted the Mount Dora Police Department on November 5, 2023, after failing to get in touch with Nicole. At that point, they filed a missing person report, and the investigation into Nicole’s disappearance began.
It was discovered that she’d left behind practically all of her personal belongings at home. This included her car, purse, credit cards, and smartwatch.

As authorities taped off Nicole’s home and searched the surrounding area, community members – some of whom didn’t even know Nicole personally – also pitched in for the effort.
“I’d say it’s very special. I would’ve never really expected that. I guess it’s the hope of the people,” Alisha said.
Unfortunately, there have not been any updates in the search for Nicole. Rather, her husband has been arrested – but on charges unrelated to her case.
This has caused Alisha to be separated from both of her parents and following her father’s arrest in December, she claimed that she didn’t want his case to take anything away from the search for her mom. Instead, she hoped that people would continue sharing Nicole’s missing person poster as opposed to making any comments about her father.
A private Facebook group was also created to spread awareness of Nicole’s case, entitled “Help Find Nicole Baldwin.” The group has approximately 1,000 members.
Still, the exact circumstances surrounding Nicole’s disappearance remain unknown, and Alisha is continuing to search for answers.
Nicole is five foot five, weighs 135 pounds, and has blonde hair and hazel eyes. She also has numerous tattoos, including the names of her children with three hearts on her upper right arm and the phrase, “Live the life you love, love the life you live,” on her back.
Nicole was last seen wearing a pink nightgown and had no shoes on. There is currently a $5,000 reward being offered for information that leads to her location.
