Chalice Welch is a devoted 24-year-old mother of four from Arlington, Texas, who worked as a server at a local restaurant to support her family. But, on February 2, 2024, she mysteriously vanished after attending a birthday party, and her loved ones have been scrambling to find answers ever since.

That Friday, Chalice was dropped off at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, which is located at 460 West State Highway 183 in Irving, Texas, at about 10:30 p.m. There, she planned to go to a birthday party with her friends.

Then, later that evening, her friends last saw her getting into a vehicle with an unknown man and leaving the property. Chalice failed to return home after the party, and she hasn’t been seen or heard from in over a month.

“I’m panicking. I’m panicking right now,” said Chalice’s mother, Kimberly Spinks.

According to Kimberly, Chalice left her jacket, as well as other personal belongings, at the hotel where the birthday party was hosted. Chalice’s phone also last pinged to a region near Walnut Hill and Central Expressway in Dallas, Texas, at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday and stopped pinging afterward.

She disappeared just a few days before her 1-year-old child’s first birthday, and Kimberly believes that her daughter– who is known to be a devoted mother and reliable employee– never would have just left without warning.

“She’s always there for her kids, and she always goes to work,” Kimberly explained.

“I feel like I know this isn’t her choice. She wouldn’t do this. Never. She has a family, and she loves her kids.”

The Irving Police Department is currently investigating Chalice’s disappearance, and while authorities stated there are no new updates in the case progression, investigators are working hard to find answers.
