When TikToker Simone (@sim0ne.sim0ne) agreed to go out with a guy who seemed cute and promising, she wasn’t expecting to end the night wondering if she needed to move apartments.
So, she matched with a guy on a dating app, and they made plans to get drinks. He was attractive, and his dating profile was interesting, so she was intrigued.
But when he arrived to pick her up, she quickly realized that he was actually boring.
On the date, they each got one drink. The conversation was horrific, and she started regretting going out with him. He drove her back home, and when they arrived, he started to park the car.
She asked him if he was planning on going up to her apartment. He told her that he just wanted to walk her to the door.
She gave him a hug goodbye, and he proceeded to kiss her. She quickly shut the door in his face. A few moments later, she realized that she was really hungry, so she decided to drive herself to a nearby fast-food restaurant.
As she got into her car, she received a text from her date, asking if she wanted to hook up. He even offered to come back up to her apartment.
She told him to leave her alone, and became worried that he was still waiting in the parking lot. Then, she had the awful realization that he now knew where she lived.
Several TikTok users lit up the comments section with their own chaotic dating tales and advice. The moral of the story is never to let men pick you up on the first date because your safety is priceless.

“I had almost the same thing happen, but I went to his place to sit on his broken couch, and he smelled bad and talked about his ex the whole time. When I left, he asked if we could at least hook up…I’m sorry, what?” commented one user.
“I don’t trust men at all to pick me up and know where I stay. I had a dude watching my Tinder and seeing the mileage go up, and asked why I’m driving so far and not meeting him. Like, sir, what?! Blocked lol,” added another.
