On the week of her birthday, TikToker Eiley (@eiley.cyrus) found out from a comment on TikTok that her boyfriend was cheating on her with at least three other girls.
For her birthday, her boyfriend picked her up from the airport and planned things for them to do. Everything was great for the first half of the week, but by the end of the week, he seemed distant. She asked him if everything was fine, and he had said it was, so she didn’t think too much about it.
On the day of her birthday party, her friends from work and from out of town came to celebrate. It was the first time her boyfriend would be meeting most of them.
The party went well at first. He was talking to every friend group and getting to know them. But when it came time to head out to the bar, things took a turn.
Eiley asked him to join the first round of Ubers over to the bar, and he could bring his friend with him, too. But as she was rounding up the second group, she started receiving a bunch of calls and texts from her friends. They said that he had randomly walked away and did not get into the car with them.
“Of course, I’m so confused,” Eiley said. “The first place my mind goes to is that maybe he’s too drunk and embarrassed because he didn’t drink often, allegedly.”
“I’m so blindsided to the point that I cannot come up with any other reason because nothing else happened.”
When they finally arrived at the bar, Eiley pulled his friend aside and asked him what was going on. The friend basically said that he didn’t know they were even dating until tonight, and that he hadn’t seen her boyfriend for three months before tonight.
Eiley continued calling and texting him for a while. Then, she decided to enjoy the night with her friends. The next morning, she still hadn’t heard from him.

Her friends had spent the night in her room. They all had been trying to figure out what could’ve happened to make Eiley’s boyfriend disappear.
He didn’t text her until 1 p.m. All he wrote was, “Let’s save our breath here. I can’t see you anymore and need to move on. Other than that, I don’t have anything else to say.”
Eiley attempted to get him to explain further, but she finally gave up because he refused to talk to her. So, she told him that she wanted the stuff she had left behind at his apartment.
“He tells me that the only way he’ll give them back to me is that if I give him back the gifts that he gave me, which [were] a little ring from when he went on a trip to Greece and then a hat from when he went to the U.S. Open,” Eiley said.
“He also tells me that he won’t be giving them to me in person and that he will only give them to me once they’re left outside.”
She lied and said the gifts were outside. She waited for him outside so he could at least look her in the eye. He didn’t even have all of her stuff, so she told him to go back and grab those as well.
He returned to have a brief conversation with her and essentially explained that she had been a bad girlfriend, and his breaking point was that she made him get into a different Uber than hers.
The next day, she realized that he had been planning a trip for her to meet a bunch of his friends in California. He had insisted on booking the flight and had her transfer the money to him, but he had never given her the flight information. She texted him to either transfer the money back or send over the flight information so she could cancel it herself.
He told her it was a nonrefundable flight and refused to give her the information. Then, he started talking about how she was accusing him of taking her money.
One of Eiley’s friends commented on his Instagram post, saying that he was broke. He immediately took a screenshot of the comment and sent it to Eiley.
“In this screenshot, I can see in the corner that he’s on FaceTime with his ex-girlfriend,” Eiley said. “Mind you, this is two days after we broke up, which is the same girlfriend I already had suspicions about. Clearly, something was going on there.”
Eiley decided not to bother wasting her time and energy on him. But unfortunately, it got worse. She posted on TikTok about how her boyfriend had ghosted her on her birthday, embarrassed her in front of her friends, and was cheating on her with his ex.
People flocked to her comments section to share their thoughts.
Soon enough, a few accounts began talking about Eiley’s now ex-boyfriend. A girl reached out to her, and they began texting. They put two and two together and realized that he had been pursuing her the entire time that he was dating Eiley. He had left Eiley’s birthday party to go to this girl’s apartment.
“She also told me how she knew of another girl he was pursuing because she was a mutual friend of hers, and that he had even told her that he was talking to his ex since July,” said Eiley.
Later, he had the audacity to text her and stated that she was taking it too far by making TikToks about him. He then accused her of ruining the relationship.
It came out that he had apparently started their relationship by going through her phone without her knowledge. She told him not to contact her again. Now that the truth has been exposed, Eiley vows always to listen to her intuition.
