Weeks ago, TikToker @chaosangel420 met a guy on a dating app who asked her out on a date for 8:45 p.m. They planned to meet up for drinks. But the first red flag appeared when he suggested that she park at his apartment so they could walk over together.

After consulting with her friends on what she should do, she decided to park on the street so they could meet up at the date spot. When they arrived, he ordered two mocktails for them.

They started talking about their family and their jobs. The conversation was flowing, and they were clicking really well.

But then, he just had to tell her that her voice reminded him of a coworker he hated. Apparently, he felt that was important information to share on a first date.

From there, the date went downhill. He told her that he was Muslim, so he didn’t drink or smoke, but he was looking to hook up. However, his dating profile had stated that he was interested in a long-term relationship.

He proceeded to invite her back to his place for some hot chocolate and proudly told her that he had hooked up with three girls in one day before.

“He was just doing and saying everything that was just giving me the ick,” said @chaosangel420. “And I already had like a red flag because of him wanting me to park at his apartment complex.”

Finally, he asked her if she could drive him back to his apartment. She told him that he could walk. At the end of the date, he laughed and pointed out that she at least had a funny story to tell her roommate, but she was not amused at all.

She is now seriously reconsidering the entire dating app experience and thinks she might stay single for the rest of her life.

In the comments section, many TikTok users shared dating horror stories of their own. It just goes to show that trying to find love on dating apps can be wildly unpredictable.

“Yesterday, someone asked me on a date and picked a place 10 minutes away from and an hour from me. Immediately blocked,” wrote one user.

“Had a guy on Hinge ask to go fishing at a remote lake for our first date. I’m like, dude, I’m not going to be in a Dateline episode, bye,” stated another.

“The date that made me delete the app showed up 20 minutes late in full biking gear, click-clack shoes, and sweaty,” commented a third.

“I went on a date with this guy, and he pulled out his phone to scroll on Bumble in front of me. That isn’t even the worst date I’ve been on,” added someone else.
