After her stepmom donated everything in her childhood room without warning, TikToker Jessica (@jessicapbjensen) is both fuming and devastated all at once.

Her dad and stepmother have been together for a long time, and they live in Jessica’s childhood home in Las Vegas. Jessica is newly married and lives in a one-bedroom basement apartment in Utah.

One day, her dad video-called her while he was going through the stuff in her childhood bedroom, asking what she wanted to keep. Then, he panned over to her closet, and to her surprise, it was empty. He told her that everything had been donated.

“All my cheer stuff was in there, like that was an era of my life that I didn’t want to forget,” said Jessica.

“I had my competition uniform. I had my two World Champion Summit rings that I won in there. I had my authentic Mexican dresses from my mission in there. I had my mom’s clothes, which I hold very near and dear to my heart.”

She started freaking out, making her dad realize the severity of the situation. However, she believes that he already knew how bad it was and was just trying to play it off like he was totally clueless.

Her stepmom was the one who had gotten rid of everything. She didn’t think there was anything important in Jessica’s closet because it was just a bunch of backpacks and clothes.

After they hung up, Jessica called her sister in tears to tell her what happened. Her sister hung up the phone, called their dad, and cussed him out.

They ended up driving to the thrift store to see if Jessica’s stuff was still there. Unfortunately, it had been taken to a warehouse across town.

She tried calling the warehouse, but they told her that her stuff was basically lost forever. Now, she is trying to accept that her stuff is really gone.

“The kicker for me was that the three things she decided to keep from my closet were the Raiders hoodie because she and my dad are Raiders fans, and then the three hoodies that my dad makes for him and his buddies every year for their annual trip to Baja,” said Jessica.

Her stepmom later went on to send Jessica and her sister a message, saying that they needed to be more mature and act like adults because the whole situation was upsetting their father.

Jessica has stopped speaking to her dad and stepmom. Her stepmom has also never apologized for going through her things and throwing them away without her consent.

Jessica pointed out that if her stepmom had wanted her stuff out of the house so desperately, she could’ve called her up, and she would have made the trip to get it. The whole situation just isn’t sitting right with her.
