Growing up, TikToker @small_town_life_86 lived in a haunted house. Her parents bought the home when she was a little girl, and they hadn’t known anything about the history of the house.

Apparently, a man had lived there before them, and he murdered five women in the house. He would travel to a different state, marry these women, bring them back home, and murder them. Then, he would collect the life insurance.

The murders took place in @small_town_life_86’s bedroom. There were gas lines in the bedroom that were used to poison the air so that the women would go to sleep and never wake up.

“He got away with five women before he was caught, and he’s in prison to this day,” said @small_town_life_86.

“We knew nothing about it. My parents knew nothing. And a lot of weird stuff happened while we lived there. We lived there for 10 years.”

When she was eight years old, she had her first paranormal encounter. Her room was always extremely cold, even in the middle of summer.

One day, her mom told her to clean her room. Her Barbie toys were all over the place. She spent over two hours cleaning and organizing.

Finally, she went to the living room to wait for her mom to return home from work. She was excited to show her mom how clean the room was. She had vacuumed the floors, wiped the counters, and put everything back in the toy boxes.

When her mom got home, they walked over to her room. She opened the door and saw a great, big mess that hadn’t been there before. The whole floor was covered with toys, and nail polish had been dumped on the carpet.

A lit candle was sitting on the counter, which she wasn’t allowed to have. Every toy bin in her closet had been emptied onto the floor, and her bed was sideways against the wall.

“I didn’t know what to say because I didn’t understand what in the world happened in the 10 minutes I had left my room and been sitting out there waiting for my mom to get home,” she said.

She had an older brother, so she confronted him about her messy room. He told her that he hadn’t touched anything. When he walked into her room, he was shocked because he had never seen her room in such a state.

They didn’t understand where the candle had even come from. Their mom didn’t like having candles in the house.

Of course, her mom made her go back into the room and clean it up. At that point, she was scared to be in the room without really knowing why.

The whole situation didn’t make any sense. She even second-guessed herself and wondered if she had cleaned her room at all. That was just the first major event of many that she experienced in the house.
