While flying from Delhi to Tokyo, TikToker Anna Manocha (@anna.manocha) was stopped by a security agent in the Delhi airport. She figured it was because she traveled with a medication that was like an injectable pen. She has to inject herself in the leg every week with this medication.
However, that wasn’t the reason she was stopped.
“I’ve been traveling since before I was born, like since I was in the womb,” said Anna. “And I’ve been stopped many times in security, but I have never had something like this happen to me.”
She explained to the agent in Hindi that she had medication in a bag. But the agent pulled out a Ziploc bag full of her toiletries and makeup products to examine. He removed her Fenty contour stick and asked what it was.
Flustered, she tried to explain what contour was to this older Indian male agent. She described it as helping to make the cheeks look more defined.
He wasn’t buying it and was confused as to why she would want to look more like an old lady.
Then, he took out her Benefit brow pencil and asked what she did with it. Now, Anna was finding herself basically doing a whole makeup tutorial in the airport.
He questioned whether her eyebrows were fake and drawn on. She told him that her eyebrows were real, but the pencil was to enhance their beauty.
He told her that he could keep all her stuff, but suggested that she throw everything away when she arrived home because she looked like a clown with all her makeup.

And that was how she got roasted by a security agent at the airport.
Several TikTok users shared similar experiences they’ve had at the Delhi airport. They described security agents being confused about their makeup products and tools. It wasn’t just makeup, either. Musical instruments were also involved in one story.
“They once stopped my sister because she was carrying her harmonica, and she had to lowkey serenade them for them to understand what it was,” commented one user.
“They were so weird to me, too. They searched through my makeup bag and all my jewelry and ended up making me throw out my tiny eyebrow scissors,” added another.
“They didn’t care about any of my makeup when I flew out of Delhi, but that’s only because they were so distracted by the two dozen vapes that you apparently can’t fly with in India,” stated a third.
“I feel like this stuff always happens at the Delhi airport. Last time I was there, the lady patting me down in TSA started interrogating me on my hair layers like it was a matter of national security,” wrote someone else.
