More than 200 days ago, TikToker Cassandra (@cassandrawnc) found out that her 13-year-old daughter was assaulted by her softball coach.

He was arrested on September 5, 2025. They live in North Carolina. Recently, they went to court because he pled guilty to all counts, which were three counts of indecent liberties with a child.

“This person did absolutely horrific things to our daughter and him pleading guilty was the least he could do,” said Cassandra.

“But when I tell you what happened next, I’m probably going to tell you to pick your jaw up off the floor like ours was.”

Both he and his attorney admitted in court that he assaulted Cassandra’s daughter. The hardest part about the whole process was hearing his attorney try to defend him and make light of the situation, as if it were not the worst thing that could possibly happen. Ultimately, he was sentenced to 200 days in jail.

In court, he admitted to his crime and showed remorse for what he had done. He tried to prove that he was a pillar of the community and had even been going to therapy. Cassandra and everyone else were shocked that the judge gave him a sentence of only 200 days.

“He gets 200 days in jail, and my 13-year-old child gets a lifetime full of trauma,” said Cassandra. “This is exactly what is wrong with our judicial system. I could go out here and [kill] an animal, and you’re going to send me to prison for years.”

“But go out here and ruin a child’s life forever and change it forever? That is an appropriate sentence. I am getting ready to cause a ruckus.”

The softball coach now has to be a registered offender for 30 years, and Cassandra’s family has a lifetime restraining order against him.

They asked for restitution for new softball gear so that Cassandra’s daughter could have a fresh start.

To her, all her stuff feels dirty because he has touched it. However, the judge told them that their request was inappropriate.

In the comments section, many TikTok users expressed their sympathies and advised her on what her next step should be.

“I live in NC. I know some inmates. Give me his name. I’ll spread the word to the inmates, and they can give some prison justice. All I need is a name,” commented one user.

“I’m guessing the judge has been bought and paid for. Contact media. Put the names of the judge and that pedo all over. Make flyers and pass them out. Other children and their parents need to know,” suggested another.

“Sue him in civil court for emotional damages. For real. Not only for her, but also for yourself,” stated a third.
