When TikToker Natalia Hauser (@natisstyle) was at the John F. Kennedy International Airport, traveling for her sister’s wedding, she met who she claims is the love of her life.
On her way to the airport, her sister called her and told her that the airport was packed. Her sister was a nervous flier, so Natalia thought she was exaggerating. She arrived at the airport at 7:05 a.m. Her flight was at 9:30 a.m., so she had plenty of time to spare.
However, when she walked into the airport, she was immediately thrown by the chaos. The lines were extremely long, and people were arguing and cutting in front of each other.
When Natalia got in line to check her bag, she struck up a conversation with a girl behind her and a guy in front of her. They both happened to be on the same flight.
Once their bags were checked, the three of them stuck together and headed to the line for security. Natalia and the guy, who was named Jake, broke off from the other girl because they needed to get in different lines.
But then, Natalia and Jake realized they were in the wrong line, so they tried to cut into the correct line. They were met with angry people who told them to go to the back of the line. A TSA agent came over and kicked them out of line, so they started walking to the back.
“We encounter a group of high school students going on their Bahamas senior trip,” said Natalia.
“This was so clutch on Jake’s behalf, but he just dabbed one of them up, and we get grouped with these high schoolers like in the middle of their mob, wearing their college sweatshirts.”
So, they didn’t end up having to go all the way to the back of the line. But a woman behind them patted Natalia on the shoulder and angrily called her out for cutting in line. She let the woman move in front of them so that she would stop glaring at her.

Natalia and Jake spent the next 30 minutes waiting in line and chatting with each other. He was in town for a wedding, and Natalia assumed that he must be single since he wasn’t traveling with anyone.
She learned that he was a lawyer from California, but was considering moving to New York or Hollywood, Florida. She thought this must be fate because she was from Hollywood, Florida. But in the end, things didn’t pan out between them.
“There are two reasons I think he didn’t ask me for my number, and I didn’t have the [guts] to,” said Natalia.
“One, I had never looked uglier at the airport in my life. I was marinating oils in my hair. I was wearing jean sweatpants with my Hokas because I didn’t want to pack them.
“And two, my phone background is a picture of me and one of my favorite DJs. I’m now realizing it could have totally seemed like I had a boyfriend.”
