This Man Found A 2.2-Carat Diamond While Visiting A Park

His next big endeavor was finding the stones to put in the ring, and so he and his friend made mining equipment and made a trip to the Crater of Diamonds State Park.

After three days of mining in the park, Christian for a 2.2-carat yellow diamond.

“I saw it shining as soon as I turned the screen over and immediately knew it was a diamond,” Christian said in a press release.

“I was shaking so bad, I asked my buddy to grab it out of the gravel for me!”

Although this is a pretty big deal diamond to find, Christian isn’t done mining for gemstones. He hopes to find a few opals when he heads to Nevada.
