Priscilla was holding the bottle of rubbing alcohol, and a flame got stuck inside the lid when she closed it.
The oxygen inside the rubbing alcohol container caught fire, and the bottle exploded all over Priscilla.
The clothing that Priscilla was wearing ended up melting into her skin, and she suffered mostly 3rd-degree burns across her entire body.

“They were always doing something and making something,” Priscilla’s mom said.
“Priscilla has done this her whole life. And I’ve always warned her about experimenting, and how not everything can be mixed together, and to always ask me before doing something, especially if you see it online.”
“That I won’t ever be mad if you ask me first. I was always worried about things like borax when making slime. I’ve warned my children about hand sanitizer when it became more popular with covid. I would have never thought about this…”
So far, Priscilla has had to undergo 4 different surgeries, and her time in the operating room is far from over.
