She Was Last Seen 6 Years Ago Accepting A Ride From An Older Man After Leaving Work: Where Is Marina Boelter?
Bloomfield, Indiana. It was about to be January 1st of 2015 and 18-year-old Marina Boelter was doing everything she could to better herself and her life in the upcoming new year.
Although she was just a teenager, she had already given birth to her son Landen, only to lose custody of him a few months later.
Marina was dedicated to getting him back, and all her choices were leading up to providing the best that she could for him.
Shortly before her disappearance, Marina completed her GED, she got a job at the IGA supermarket off of South Highway 231 in Bloomfield, and she had also moved into her very own apartment.
Marina’s loved ones have described her as extremely smart, wonderful, and hard working. She’s a loving young woman with a heart of gold.
On the evening of December 31st, 2014, Marina completed her shift at the IGA and left, headed across the parking lot at approximately 6 p.m.
Now, the father of Marina’s child, D.J. Lockhart, just so happened to be in that parking lot as Marina was leaving for the night. D.J. was waiting for his friends to show up to give him a ride.
D.J. and his friends would later tell authorities that they witnessed Marina get into a car that an older man was driving, and they headed off.

That was the last time that anyone saw Marina, and after she failed to show up to work the following day, her coworkers reported her as missing to the police.
There were unfortunately no cameras in the IGA parking lot or close by that picked up Marina leaving for the night.
Although authorities have not named this older man that Marina had been seen with publicly, they have indicated that he has nothing to do with Marina’s disappearance.
Apparently, this older man said he drove Marina to a pizza shop that was within walking distance of her apartment.
That’s where he left her that night, and Marina’s cellphone records back up that she was at the location.
Strangely enough, just a few weeks after D.J. watched Marina get into that car, he was stabbed to death.
While it certainly does seem suspicious that D.J. was the last person to see Marina and he provided the tip about the older man, authorities have made it clear that his death had nothing to do with Marina’s disappearance.

Despite getting multiple leads and tips from people online, Marina’s family still has not received any new information about where she went.
“I just got a message out of nowhere giving me “information” about where Marina could be,” Marina’s sister-in-law Ashley explained in a Facebook post.
Ashley came into Marina’s life when she was just 6-years-old, and she just loved her as soon as she met her. She is also currently working to get custody of Marina’s son Landen.
“It’s so devastating that we still have no answers and that we have to take every “tip” with a grain of salt,” Ashley continued.
“If I believed everyone that messaged me, I would drive myself insane…but I still hope that someone will honestly come forward and share what they know.”
July 15th marked Marina’s 25th birthday, and her loved ones are still hoping that she is out there, somewhere, and that someone will come forward with the information they need to lead them to her.
“Today is your 25th birthday! I cannot believe how long it has been since we last spoke, texted, hugged…we miss you more than you will ever know,” Ashley said.
“We wish we had answers to where you are. I pray that someday we will.”
“We love you so much and know that someday we will all be together again to celebrate all the birthdays we missed. I love you baby sis!”
