Her Sister’s Teen Stepdaughter Has Been Acting So Inappropriately Towards Her Husband And Now It Has Caused A Rift In The Family

This woman’s sister has been dating a single dad and was excited to meet her sister’s future stepdaughter. That was until things became super inappropriate and uncomfortable.

Her sister’s stepdaughter, Scarlett, is nineteen years old. Unfortunately, this woman got a bad feeling from the moment they met.

“I have to say she seemed like the rude type who had never been told no and hasn’t learned proper social skills,” the woman said, “But, I understand my sister’s just trying to win her on her side so that the relationship would last.”

Scarlett did not meet the woman’s husband until her third visit. This was when the situation escalated from rude to grossly inappropriate.

“She shamelessly and boldly started complimenting him– making comments about how gorgeous his eyes were, how good he smelled and how attractive his body was in front of everyone,” the woman explained.

She kept quiet, but Scarlett did not stop. Instead, she began hugging him and making whatever excuse she could to take home his belongings.

“I didn’t even know that until my husband told me. He said that my sister pressured him into giving her stuff. I was enraged,” the woman recalled.

She tried to talk with her sister about how uncomfortable she and her husband were. First, the sister asked the woman to keep quiet.

But then, she suggested that the woman’s husband does not have to attend family gatherings anymore.

“But that’s my parent’s house. So she can’t stop him from coming over,” the woman said, “She promised she’d resolved this with Scarlett and talk to her sternly.” Clearly, though, that has not happened– because another incident occurred soon after.

A week ago, the woman and her husband went to her parent’s house again for dinner. Her sister and Scarlett were also there.

“Once my husband and I walked through the door, Scarlett came running like she was five and hugged my husband by wrapping her arms around his waist,” the woman said.

Scarlett kept telling the husband how nice it was to see him even after he tried to keep his distance. But then, she really took it too far.

“She then placed her hand on his belt and started playfully pulling the prong with her finger– while she was still talking to him– as if she was talking to her boyfriend,” the woman said, “I found this appalling, my husband was clearly confused, and that is when I shouted at her to have some respect and get away from him.”

Scarlett tried to talk back, but the woman stuck to her guns. Finally, she told Scarlett that her behavior was utterly disrespectful and made her husband so uncomfortable.

“My sister got involved trying to get me to calm down, but I told her she was responsible for not doing anything about her stepdaughter’s behavior,” the woman said, “She left with her after we had a huge fight that night.”

Since Scarlett is adult-aged, the woman’s parents told her she was wrong to blame her sister. Instead, they believe that only Scarlett can be held responsible for her own behavior.

The woman agrees but also recognizes that her sister is the one who brought Scarlett around the family.

“She’s seen how inappropriately she behaves but said and did nothing. She let it get this far,” the woman said.

The sister instead argued that the woman’s husband was actually responsible since he stood there and did not defend himself.

“She said that he clearly likes the attention and must be giving Scarlett a reason to go after him like that, which made the issue between us worse.

She’s basically blaming everyone but Scarlett and refusing to hold her accountable,” the woman said.

Now, she is caught in a very awkward spot. The woman is wondering if she should go to Scarlett’s dad, even though her sister begged her not to in order to keep the peace with her stepdaughter.
