While Investigating The Unsolved Murders Of These Teen Girls, Authorities Came Across A Man Pretending To Be A Model Online So He Could Talk To Underage Girls: Could This Be The Key To Solving The Delphi Murders?

Delphi, Indiana. 13-year-old Abigail J. “Abby” Williams and 14-year-old Liberty Rose Lynn “Libby” German were both best friends who lived in Delphi.

It was February 13th, 2017, when Abby and Libby got a ride from Libby’s older sister to a local trail so they could hang out and hike together.

At around 1 that afternoon, Abby and Libby got dropped off close to Monon High Bridge, which is where they were planning to take their walk.

The girls were supposed to be picked up in a few hours by Libby’s dad, but when they failed to meet him later on that day, he got worried and reported them as missing.

“Following an extensive search, at approximately 12:15 p.m. on February 14, 2017, the bodies of the two girls were found in a wooded area near the Delphi Historic Trail, approximately one-half mile upstream from the bridge,” the Indiana State Police explained.

“On Wednesday, February 15th, law enforcement officers distributed a photograph of a person observed on the Delphi Historic Trail.”

“The photograph appears to depict a white male wearing blue jeans, a blue coat/jacket, and a hoodie.”

“During the course of the investigation, preliminary evidence has led investigators to believe the person, in the distributed photograph, is a suspect in the investigation of the homicides of Abigail Williams and Liberty German.”

Despite a $200,000 reward and tons of tips pouring in, it’s been 3 years since Abby and Libby were murdered and their killer is still out there. Their case has now come to be known as the Delphi Murders.

3 days ago, the Indiana State Police announced that as they were continuing to investigate the murders of Abby and Libby, they came across a man using photos of someone else to talk to underage girls.

The man went by the online name anthony_shots, and a probable cause affidavit revealed the man behind the profile is 27-year-old Kegan Anthony Kline.

Kegan created this fake profile with photos of a male model, not himself, and he, in turn, used his profile from 2016 to 2017 to talk to underage girls on Instagram and Snapchat.

Authorities were able to figure out who the male model in the photos actually is and they pointed out that the male model is not at all a suspect.

They also did not directly say that Kegan is a suspect in the murders of Abby and Libby; just that they came across his fake online profile throughout the investigation.

There is a possibility that Kegan could hold the key to finally solving their murders though.

“The fictitious anthony_shots profile used images of a known male model and portrayed himself as being extremely wealthy and owning numerous sports cars,” the Indiana State Police said in a press release.

“The creator of the fictitious profile used this information while communicating with juvenile females to solicit nude images, obtain their addresses, and attempt to meet them.”

Below are the photos that Kegan used for his anthony_shots profile, and the Indiana State Police is interested in speaking to you if you happened to talk to anthony_shots, met him in real life, or agreed to meet him.

The Indiana State Police is asking that you provide as much information to them as you are able to, such as the date you spoke with anthony_shots, how frequently you spoke to him, what social media platform you spoke to him on, and if anthony_shots tried to meet you or got your address.

If you happen to have saved your conversations with him or images from his profile, they are asking that you send those to them as well.
