Unfortunately, the conversation was a waste of time, because this 19-year-old continued to follow her boyfriend around and continued to be flirtatious.
Her friends began picking up on this behavior, so she feels like it’s not all in her head. At one particularly recent party, she and her boyfriend took separate cars because she needed to be at work.
She ended up leaving the party a little before he did, but she was trusting of her boyfriend and she tried to let that override her discomfort.
“Fast forward to yesterday. I asked for something out of his truck, and as he was looking, he found a thong in the back,” she said.
“The very same one she was showing off weeks earlier.”
Her boyfriend seemed to be shocked when he picked it up, and he did nothing to try to hide the fact that it was in his truck.
She absolutely lost it, and she questioned him about if he had slept with her. He swore that nothing had happened, and he confided in her that he thinks the 19-year-old was setting him up.
She is upset, but she believes him because he has never done anything to ruin her trust in him.
“Either I am being lied to, or I am being manipulated by a teenager with an obsessive crush. Neither one is good.”
She doesn’t think confronting the 19-year-old is an option for her since it’s her friend’s daughter.
“I’m at a loss. I want to believe him, but the whole thing is so shady. We agreed that we need to keep a big wall up with her and her parents.”
