After Her Best Friend Passed Away, She Refused To Let His Widow Have A Piece Of Jewelry He Made For Her

Susan quickly became upset, and clearly was vulnerable emotionally, but the interaction left this woman needing advice.

She shared, “When I told my husband he said I did nothing wrong and that maybe Susan was going to pawn it. I want to believe him but partly because I want to keep it.”

Redditors shared her husband’s perspective, finding it suspicious that she was so picky about the piece, though she supposedly wanted one for its sentimental value in her loss.

One user commented, “Honestly, she was married to him, they have so many things in their home that they bought together over the years … I’m sure he bought her things that she liked. something is fishy.”

Another user weighed in, saying, “She overstepped a lot by thinking she could choose from ALL your jewelry when you were offering her one piece. She should have taken it and thanked you instead of wanting to get more expensive jewelry.”
