Sammi then asked Josh if he talks to all girls like this or if he’s only mean to overweight women.
To which Josh responded, “Only the whales.”
“He openly admitted to being mean to fat people,” says Sammi.
The conversation only continued to get worse as Josh kept throwing harsh comments at Sammi. He wrote that Sammi’s bio mentions that she likes to workout sometimes and claims she is lying about that.
“I know your brain is the size of a pea, so what I’m about to say might be shocking, but skinny doesn’t equal healthy,” wrote back Sammi.
“So yes, I do workout, but I don’t do it to lose weight because I’m actually comfortable in my skin.”
Sammi goes on to point out that she has always struggled with insecurity surrounding her weight but that she felt she was finally getting to a place of self-acceptance. Until her conversation with Josh happened, that is.
After more horrific insults from Josh, Sammi ended the conversation by asking him, “Did you just swipe right on me to be mean to me?”
Sammi eventually reported Josh on the app. Especially because in her video, she makes a good point by mentioning that there are guys on dating apps that will swipe right on fat girls just to bully them.
Sammi says that her interaction with Josh was a setback in her self-love journey and that their conversation had ruined her day.
“I’m worried that he’s going to do it to someone else who is more vulnerable than me,” says Sammi.
