And Cardinals fans throughout the country also shared their appreciation for J.J.’s unwavering generosity year after year.
“This is why we love you, J.J.,” wrote one fan.
“Dude, you are as humble as they come,” agreed another.
In fact, this is far from the first instance J.J. has given back to the community in extremely charitable ways. Back in 2017, he raised over $37 million of relief funds on GoFundMe for the Houston community following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.
Then, in May of 2018, J.J. offered to cover the funeral costs of ten Texas high school students and teachers who lost their lives in a mass shooting.
And most recently, J.J. also paid for the funerals of six people killed in the Waukesha, Wisconsin, Christmas parade in November of 2021.
It is clear that the defensive end is not only a team player for the Cardinals but also anyone whose life he can touch.
