If Your Best Friend Ever Winds Up Sleeping With Your Boyfriend, Two Truths And A Lie Could Be A Good Way To Name And Shame Her
How do you reveal that your best friend is sleeping with your boyfriend? You play two truths and a lie, according to TikTok creator @mariahfeghalii.
In a video from 2020, Mariah is lying on her bed in-between her two friends, @madisondecero and @victoriahammett, in what looks to be a sleepover.
While she and Victoria are distracted on their phones, Madison proceeds to ask them if they want to play a little game for TikTok. Little did they know that she had a secret motive behind her actions.
“Do you guys want to play two truths and a lie?” she asked them. They willingly agreed, thinking it would make a fun video for TikTok.
Madison starts off by stating generalized personal facts as her three options.
“I’m blonde; I used to play competitive basketball,” she begins while counting on her fingers before laying on the third and most shocking choice. “And, um, Victoria’s been sleeping with my boyfriend.”
Madison turns the camera to both Mariah and Victoria, trying to catch their reactions. Both of the girls, eyes wide, look absolutely shocked at what had just been asked.
Victoria, who is on the farthest side of the bed away from Madison, says nothing initially, looking like she doesn’t know what to say. Mariah, meanwhile, looks immediately uncomfortable.

“Are you kidding?” Mariah turns and asks Victoria while nervously laughing.
“What?” Victoria responds, puzzled.
But Madison doesn’t let Victoria slip away from the conversation without a response to her question.
“You’ve been sleeping with my boyfriend,” she said. “I know.”
An angry Victoria asks Madison to shut the phone off, which she repeatedly denies, giving the audience an inkling that maybe, she had hit the nail on the head.
“Are you f****** kidding me?!” Victoria demands. “Turn the phone off, this isn’t funny!”
The video ends with Victoria jumping over the bed, trying to reach the camera to shut it off. Although this may seem like TikTok witnessed the end of a friendship and a great way to catch your best friend and boyfriend in the act, Mariah posts about the reality of the situation in a later video. None of it is true.
“Ok, we all love each other,” Victoria says in the video. “The TikTok was a joke.”
It turns out that in the end, the trio just made the video for laughs and never expected that it would go viral. While it was popularized across TikTok, it wasn’t in a good way for those involved, who received “hate mail” of sorts about the situation.
“People were like DM-ing me, commenting on my Instagram,” Victoria said. “One guy offered to sleep with me so that I could stop sleeping with Madison’s boyfriend, and overall, this thing has gotten really out of hand.”
It’s probably a good thing that this situation isn’t a reality and that their friendship is still intact, even if it did anger a lot of people online.
“Overall, we’re best friends,” Mariah said. “This never happened.”
Still, it may be a good ploy to use on your friends if you suspect something fishy’s going on in your relationships.
