This 24-Year-Old Georgia Woman Vanished In July 2022, And While She Remains Missing, Suspects In Her Murder Have Since Been Charged
After being born in Chicago to parents Janette Jackson and Abraham LeNoir, Allahnia Lenoir and her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2008.
They first dwelled in the Sugar Hill region before relocating to Douglasville. And as Allahnia grew into young adulthood, she was known as a lover of nature and cooking who was very close to her family.
So, after 24-year-old Allahnia vanished on July 30, 2022, her family just could not believe that she would simply disappear.
That Saturday morning started off like any normal day, too, according to Allahnia’s mother. The pair reportedly spoke on the phone, having a pretty lengthy discussion and sharing TikTok videos of food with each other.
Yet, by 8:00 p.m. on July 30, 2022, Allahnia was seen going into the 1660 Peachtree Midtown Apartments located in Atlanta with a female friend.
Allahnia’s friend claimed that they had been heading inside to relax. However, they wound up meeting two men inside the apartment building and ultimately drank with the men for some time.
Then, at about midnight, the friend was seen leaving the apartment complex on surveillance video. However, Allahnia never did.
“They have video footage of four people going in and only three people coming out. My daughter was never seen again,” Allahnia’s mother, Janette, told FOX 5.
The following day, Allahnia’s friend called Janette and detailed how they had hung out with two men before. Afterward, the friend asked Janette if Allahnia had made it home safely.

In the beginning, Janette was not too concerned about Allahnia not returning home and figured her daughter had just gone to sleep or met up with a relative or her boyfriend.
Soon, though, Janette started to receive text messages from Allahnia’s friends– claiming that her daughter had missed plans and asking where her daughter was. This was extremely uncharacteristic of Allahnia.
At that point, Janette attempted to text her daughter, but none of the messages would go through. So she then checked her daughter’s location and realized Allahnia’s last known location was the Peachtree Midtown Apartments.
Janette then reported her daughter missing on August 1, 2022, to the Atlanta Police Department.
That month, while police began working the case, Allahnia’s father, Abraham, also hired a private investigator named TJ Ward. TJ went on to lead a team of detectives, search dogs, and forensic staff as the investigation into Allahnia’s disappearance unfolded.
Then, on September 20, 2022, the Atlanta Police Department announced a tragic development. Authorities believed Allahnia had been murdered at the Peachtree Midtown Apartment complex and that her body had been disposed of at an unknown location.
Since then, the two men last seen with Allahnia– Diante Reynolds and Steve Oboite– have been charged with several crimes.
Some of Diante Reynolds’ charges included Felony Murder, Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Hindering the Apprehension or Punishment of a Criminal, Concealing the Death of Another, and Tampering with Evidence.
Steven Oboite remains on the run.
Back in January, Atlanta police also announced that a third male, Nicholas Hendrickson, was being charged for helping the two men dispose of Allahnia’s body.
According to Fulton County court documents, Steve Oboite and Diante Reynolds gave Allahnia opiates the night she was inside the apartment complex. Then, investigators think that once Allahnia exhibited signs of needing medical attention, the men avoided contacting 911 for help to cover up what had happened.
The indictment then states that Diante Reynolds had secured a lease for the apartment they were in that night using a fake name and identity.
As for Nicholas Hendrickson, court documents claim that he helped the two men when they moved Allahnia’s body. The documents also state that Hendrickson later lied to investigators about his whereabouts after authorities asked if he had gone to Alabama on July 31, 2022.
In February of this year, the suspects appeared for the arraignment and plea hearing at a Fulton County courtroom. Also in the courtroom were about 30 of Allahnia’s friends and family members.
“Everybody wants to be here. It’s important for us. We’re coming in masses; we’re coming every time. Every time is important. Every decision that’s made is important to us,” said Courtney Moon.
Following the hearing, prosecutors reassured Allahnia’s loved ones that justice would be served.
However, 29-year-old Steve Oboita is still on the run– with police believing he is within the metro Atlanta area. Additionally, Allahnia’s body still has not been found.
That’s why her family and friends have created a GoFundMe campaign to help raise awareness about her case and fund the investigation of her case.
“We are so appreciative of what has occurred with the indictments, but we need full and complete justice. Anyone else who was involved in Allahnia’s disappearance needs to be brought to justice,” the GoFundMe reads.
“We need Steven Oboite located, arrested, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Finally, and more so, we need to find our beloved Allahnia.”
The GoFundMe has since raised just under $22,000 from 188 donors. Allahnia’s family has also raised the reward offer to $15,000 for any information that leads to Steven Oboite’s arrest and the location of Allahnia.
At the time of her disappearance, Allahnia was five foot four, weighed 120 pounds, and had black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue shorts, a blue shirt, and cream-colored shoes.
If you have any information regarding her case, you are urged to contact the Atlanta Police Department at (404) 546-4235.
