A huge red flag is a guy getting angry over you saying no to seeing them for whatever reason. This type of personality shows that the guy only cares about himself and doesn’t respect your wants or needs. While you want a guy to be eager to meet up with you, you still want him to respect your schedule.
If you’re not comfortable with meeting up yet, or you can’t plan to meet until the following week, pay attention to his response. If it is kind, respectful, and understanding, then this tells you that he cares about you and not only himself and his wants.
He Sends You Things He Knows You Will Like
If he sends you memes, TikToks, or articles about something that you’re interested in, this is a great sign. This shows you that he is a good listener and wants to impress you and make you happy by indulging in your interests.
Similarly, if he asks to hear more about your hobbies or intends to engage in them with you, then it’s pretty clear that he wants to form a good connection with you. Again, this shows that he wants to get to know you more and isn’t overly into himself.
While it can sometimes be hard to truly get to know someone until you meet or video chat, there are some clear indicators of good guy behavior through how he texts you. What is a green flag that you look for when texting someone new?
