This 32-year-old man recently split up with his 35-year-old ex-girlfriend a couple of weeks ago, and it was after she mentioned to him that she wanted to break up because she was no longer happy.

This was about six weeks ago that his ex brought this to his attention, and he thought it all made sense, as his ex was acting differently in the months leading up to her ending things.

Their split was amicable, and nobody argued or cried or blew things out of proportion. They did have a vacation booked for the beginning of this month, and they agreed to go on it anyway, as they didn’t want his son to think he was missing out on something.

His son does live with him full-time, but his ex is not his son’s mom. Their vacation was great; they got along excellently, and they all had a blast.

When they returned home, his ex moved out of his house the day after, and she’s now been living in her new place for more than a week.

Yesterday night, he invited a girl over to his place to have a couple of drinks with him, and his ex found out about this through his video doorbell, which she still has access to.

She showed up at his place around midnight, started smashing glasses, thew drinks in his face, attempted to get his own dog to attack him, and then threw this girl he invited over out of his house.

“It got to the point where I had to ring the police, and she was eventually arrested,” he explained.

“Now I know it may be soon to be having flings or whatever, and that may be a poor decision on my part. But I can’t help but feel her behavior was completely uncalled for. I reminded her several times that this is not her house and we have been split up for nearly 6 weeks.”

“I never wanted it to come to her being arrested, but I felt like I was trying to protect myself from any further incidents. She has also told several people that I hit her, and I am now receiving threatening messages from her family members. I’m not trying to play the victim; just wanted some people’s opinions from an outside perspective.”

What do you think he should do?
