She’s Furious Because Her Niece Blew Out Her Daughter’s Birthday Candles And Ruined Her Daughter’s Fifth Birthday Party

This woman’s daughter’s fifth birthday was two days ago.
The day was busy and chaotic, but she wanted her daughter to have a fantastic birthday.
Before her daughter’s birthday, she and her husband let their family know that they wanted to have a birthday party since they hadn’t thrown her a party last year.
While planning the party, her daughter asked if she could invite some of her friends, and she agreed.
Her daughter planned out the whole day, and she and her husband had to make sure to purchase all of the birthday supplies they’d need.
Since their house wasn’t large enough to hold all their party guests, they decided that they would set everything up in the backyard.
On her daughter’s birthday, her mother and aunts arrived at their house, and her husband went to pick up his mother from the airport. His mother flew from Guatemala for the party.
After her husband’s sisters also got to their house, they took her daughter shopping before the party started.
“My sister arrived with her children. I don’t want to sound like a mean aunt, but her children are bad, disrespectful, and unconcerned about others. She stands by and lets them get away with everything,” she said.

Once more guests began to arrive, with tons of presents and other goodies, she helped her daughter put on her birthday dress and high-heeled shoes.
Then, her mother laid a red carpet in front of her daughter’s bedroom door so that they could get cute photos of the birthday girl.
For a while, the birthday party was great. All the guests were having a blast, everyone enjoyed the food, and she was introduced to family members on her father’s side of the family that she hadn’t met before.
Her daughter and all the other children were dancing with the mascot hired for the party, and the adults socialized, ate, and drank.
Her family was trying to film some joyful moments, but the children soon started getting impatient for the birthday cake.
“My daughter sat in her high princess chair, and my sister’s daughter stood on a chair next to her, so I asked everyone to turn off the lights and take out their phones. We lit the candles and sang ‘Happy Birthday.’ However, just as my daughter was about to blow out her candle, my niece blew it out. My daughter pushed and hit her cousin, causing her to cry and fall off the chair,” she explained.
Then, both of the girls were sobbing.
She was upset, and her sister screamed at her and said she was “immature.”
Her sister claimed that her daughter was the one who was out of line, but she responded, pointing out that it was her daughter’s birthday, not her niece’s.
“I may come across as harsh, but I believe she deserved it because I don’t understand why some parents think it’s amusing for their child to ruin another person’s birthday. My mother got everyone to stop arguing because she hated seeing her family fight,” she shared.
Once things settled down, she lit her daughter’s birthday candle once more and stood next to her so that her niece wouldn’t blow out the candle again.
The children loved the birthday cake and ate in peace after all of the drama.
Later, she disciplined her daughter for lashing out physically toward her niece. She took away her daughter’s iPad privileges and didn’t allow her to play with her toys.
Also, she had a discussion with her daughter to inquire about why she pushed and hit her cousin.
In response, her daughter explained that her cousin had bullied her, called her mean names, and made cruel remarks about the color of her skin.
After learning this, she was upset with herself for not noticing her niece’s abhorrent behavior sooner.
She doesn’t know where her niece is learning these horrible things from, but she is going to have a serious conversation with her sister about it.
What would you have done if you were in her shoes?
