She Told Her Sister Her Life Is A Complete Nightmare And She Doesn’t Want To Have A Life Like Hers

This 27-year-old woman has a 45-year-old sister named Kara, and despite the huge gap in their ages, they’re extremely close.
Their mom passed away when she was only 14, and that really caused her to get closer with Kara.
Kara essentially stepped into the role of her mom and, to this day, can still be super overprotective of her despite her asking Kara to give her a bit of room. Now, she and Kara might be close, but they lead very different lives, and it’s pretty apparent.
“I have always been career-focused and dated casually and nothing long-term,” she explained.
“Most of my friends are married, and some with kids, so we are all at different life stages. My one and only serious relationship beyond 2 months was with my ex-fiancé Ted; however, we broke up last year.”
“I struggled to move on and only started recently casually dating, but I miss Ted so I can’t commit to anything. Kara helped me through the breakup, but she wanted me to get back together with Ted as she really liked him and even suggested that I pass up the job for him.”
Kara thinks it is best for her to settle down and start a family, which is the path Kara has taken in life.
But she doesn’t want the same things as Kara at all. Kara has three children and is a stay-at-home mom.
She says Kara’s husband is pretty much Kara’s fourth kid since Kara’s husband will not do a single thing around the house.

Kara’s husband also pitches a fit if there isn’t food made for him or if the house happens to be dirty.
She hates Kara’s husband, and she has tried to get Kara to tell her husband he needs to pitch in around their home, to no avail.
Then, something happened yesterday evening between her and Kara that has pretty much driven a wedge between them.
“Kara called me again last night to encourage me about starting to date again, and that she set up a blind date for me, and honestly, I feel that’s the only thing we’ve spoken about for the past few weeks,” she continued.
“She said she just wanted me to be happy like she is, but I then told her that her life is my biggest nightmare. She got upset and said I was being too harsh.”
She’s left wondering if it was mean of her to tell Kara her life is a complete nightmare, in her opinion.
