One of the biggest adjustments you must make when living with someone is sharing your morning routine with them.

One of the hardest parts about sharing a morning routine with someone is getting used to the time they set their alarm.

One woman has been getting increasingly angry at her boyfriend, who sets his morning alarm early and snoozes it several times, making her mornings much more difficult.

She’s 24 and lives with her 29-year-old boyfriend, Mark. Mark has a job with an early morning start time of 5:00 am. So, he sets his morning alarm around 4:00 am.

However, the issue with Mark’s morning routine is that he snoozes his alarm and lets it go off several times before getting out of bed.

“I don’t get up for work until about 6:30-7:30 am, depending on when I start, so obviously, my sleep is really disturbed by this,” she said.

“Mark is an incredible boyfriend in nearly all aspects [and] he’s the man I want to marry, but he struggles with ADHD, which can make things difficult. Namely, getting out of bed is a challenge for him.”

To make matters worse, Mark doesn’t only set alarms on one device like his phone. He sets them on several devices, including his phone, Apple Watch, Apple Home, etc. Therefore, it sounds like alarms are surrounding her, and Mark never turns them off right away.

One recent morning, she counted how often Mark’s alarms went off, and they went off 12 times, which she found ridiculous.
