Unfortunately, ever since she got her raise, her boyfriend has been bugging her about money non-stop and believes it’s up to him how they would split their finances when they live together.
“He’s been trying to get more into finances, arguing that when we live together, I should pay 2/3rd of the rent,” she explained.
“[He said we should share] bills and set up a joint account if I’m ‘serious’ about being together. Without going into too much detail, he is not the best with money.”
When she told her boyfriend she wasn’t crazy about that idea, he became super defensive and told her she was too immature for a serious relationship.
Now, because of her boyfriend’s new bitter attitude, she’s considering breaking up with him, fearing he’ll get worse in the future.
Should she try to work things out with her boyfriend or end their relationship?
