How To Use Soap Nuts In Laundry
Soap nuts are simple to handle. Here’s how to introduce them into your laundry regimen. Place four to six nuts in a muslin bag and toss it in the washing machine with your clothes in warm water. When the load is done, remove the bag and let it air dry. That’s all there is to it!
They don’t have any smell to them, so if you’re sensitive to fragrances, there’s no need to worry. If you’d like, you can add a few drops of an essential oil.
Additionally, soap nuts are known to be antimicrobial. Not only do they clean clothes, but they also eliminate bacteria that can be found on our clothes and in our washing machines.
These little nuts are even reusable for up to ten times. Once they become gray and soft to the touch, it’s time to compost them.
