He Broke Up With His Girlfriend Because She Got Too Drunk And Wanted To Spend The Night With Her Former Friend With Benefits
This man and his girlfriend have been dating for one year. However, she’s known her former friend with benefits for five years.
“Based on what my girlfriend told me, while she considers him a friend, they’ve never actually done anything more than meet up at a bar and hook up,” he explained.
“Literally, they’ve never done anything else. But, my girlfriend still considered him a friend.”
His girlfriend’s “friend” also lives around an hour away from their hometown. However, they frequently visit her friend’s city because it’s much bigger and has more activities.
So, he and his girlfriend have run into her former friend with benefits from time to time. And during every single run-in, the guy has apparently hit on his girlfriend.
Still, he was never really jealous or anything until the other day – when his girlfriend decided to go out with one of her female friends.
He didn’t go with them since he had an early morning the following day. And later that night, his girlfriend called him and said she wasn’t able to make it home.
“She said she won’t make it back as she drank too much, and her friend left with a guy,” he recalled.
During their conversation, his girlfriend also revealed how she’d run into her former friend with benefits again, and the guy offered to let her stay the night.

Now, once he heard about that idea, he immediately told his girlfriend that it made him uncomfortable.
“And I offered to pay for a hotel, or if she’s willing to wait, I’d come by and pick her up,” he added.
Well, she just insisted on spending the night with her former friend with benefits. He even asked his girlfriend again if she would just let him pick her up, but she swore it was “fine.”
So, he wound up telling his girlfriend that they were done during that very same call and hung up on her. After that, she kept blowing up his phone – calling him, texting him, and even leaving a voicemail. However, he just ignored all of her attempts to talk.
Then, even though they didn’t live together, his girlfriend showed up at his house the next day. Rather than apologizing, though, she just screamed at him!
While yelling, his girlfriend just kept claiming that nothing happened between her and the guy and that nothing was ever going to happen.
“But I told her that I’m not gonna stress over if something happened or not,” he vented.
“So, I just broke up with her so even if something did happen, it’s not my business.”
Still, ever since he ended their relationship, he’s been left wondering if breaking it off was the right way to handle the situation.
