Later that day, his girlfriend called him and claimed he’d been overdramatic when he walked out of her birthday party. She assured him that she meant no harm when she insulted his gift.
However, his girlfriend didn’t think he put any thought into the present since it was inexpensive. In response, he told her she’d been rude, and her reaction to his gift saddened him.
He doesn’t know if he made the right decision when he left his girlfriend’s birthday party.
