When TikToker Avicia Chavez (@aviciachavez) worked at a bank, she was accused of robbery by her own supervisor. Talk about the ultimate betrayal!
One night, she was closing down the branch when her supervisor came over and counted the money in her drawer. She verified that there was the correct amount of money in Avicia’s drawer, and they locked it up together.
In turn, Avicia verified her supervisor’s drawer and locked that, too. After that, they both went home.
The next day, Avicia received a phone call from her supervisor, claiming that there was money missing from her drawer. She was adamant about Avicia having taken money out of her drawer. However, her supervisor had watched Avicia count the money, and none of it was missing at the time.
She was missing $10,000 from her drawer. Avicia was scheduled to work at 11 a.m. that day. When she arrived, there were detectives.
They questioned her in an interrogation room and brought her down to the police station. Avicia told the police that she didn’t take any money.
The investigation went on for a couple of days. The whole time, Avicia’s supervisor kept insisting that Avicia stole the money, so she was at risk of losing her job.
After the detectives checked the cameras, they saw that Avicia’s supervisor went back to unlock her drawer after Avicia left and took $10,000.
Apparently, Avicia’s supervisor and her husband were trying to open a restaurant, and they needed a down payment to start their business.

In the comments section, several TikTok users talked about the times they were framed at their jobs by those in positions of power.
“We had that at Dollar General. Manager had gotten 5 people fired for stealing money. Manager was taking it the whole time. Did the 5 people get rehired? No,” commented one user.
“I had this happen to me at McDonald’s. The manager took $100 out of my drawer, and I couldn’t prove it. They took the $100 out of my check. To this day, this girl doesn’t know how much she set me back, but life has done her one,” shared another.
“I’m so glad the truth came out. When I was 23, my boss stole money and blamed it on me before cameras were a thing. They interrogated me for hours, calling me a thief, a liar, etc. Turns out, my manager forged my initials and stole the money,” wrote a third.
