When TikToker @princesslela95 turned 30 years old, she found out her husband was cheating on her. It was during a transitional period of their life.
She had closed down her business and moved away from her family to Texas because her husband had gotten a job there. She was also in the process of finding a job so she could contribute financially.
At the time, she was dealing with severe depression. All the new changes weren’t helping either. One night, she was feeling particularly bad and decided to check herself into the hospital.
Her husband worked night shifts, so he had already gone to work. She called him and told him that she felt like hurting herself and was going to the hospital.
He came home to take her to the hospital because he claimed it would look bad if he didn’t. She had to keep explaining why she needed to check into the hospital and get help because he didn’t seem to get it. They drove to the hospital and waited for the therapist to show up.
He really wanted to get back to work. Finally, he left her alone to deal with her own problems. She stayed in the hospital overnight. They ended up discharging her from the hospital. She texted her husband to let him know, and he said he would be on his way at 5 a.m.
She waited for him by the doors and saw him drive past, talking and laughing with someone on the phone. When he parked, she walked up to the car, and he quickly hung up the phone.
She asked him who he was talking to, and he told her it was just a friend from work. She told him to call the friend back. A girl answered the phone, and she demanded to know who she was. The girl asked to speak to her in private, so she stepped out of the car and listened to what she had to say.
“Apparently, they met through work, which is why he was itching to hurry up and get back to work,” said @princesslela95. “So, they met through work, and they had been talking for a couple of weeks and stuff like that. I’m finding all of this out as I’m in the hospital parking lot.”

This was his secret second phone that she had no idea about. She went through the messages on the phone and saw that he wanted to get this girl pregnant.
He told her about their situation and said that @princesslela95 had risked their finances in order to try to have a baby, even though it was a decision they made together.
“We both wanted to be parents, and we both wanted to have a baby, and we went through fertility doctors and stuff,” @princesslela95 said.
“That was both of our decisions. We have taken out a loan and stuff to do that, and paid that loan off long ago. He took out a second loan because he couldn’t make rent, and apparently, now, that’s my fault, too.”
She recorded all the messages on her own phone to keep as evidence. If she had never checked herself into the hospital, she wouldn’t have found out about this whole plan of his to have a baby with another woman.
Two hours after finding out, she packed up her stuff and drove back home to her family. Since then, she hasn’t spoken to him unless it was about bills.
They were supposed to have a joint therapy session, but she ended up attending herself because he didn’t show up. He has not been blowing up her phone at all, so she thinks he’s still with that other girl.
Her life is only improving, as she has gathered the strength to seek help and build herself back up. She’s ready to start over and move on with her life.
