If someone spends an entire date speaking his innermost thoughts out loud, feel free to run away immediately. TikToker Jasmine (@thedoglord) is speaking from experience here. She went on a date with a guy who talked to himself the whole time.
“I was in my twenties, and I already knew prior to going on the date that I did not want to go out with this guy, but unfortunately, I had it in my head that I couldn’t cancel dates no matter what,” said Jasmine.
When they were trying to plan where to go for their first date, she kept suggesting that they meet somewhere in the middle. But he was extremely adamant about going to a specific Starbucks that was 10 minutes away from his place.
He would not compromise with her at all about where to meet. Deep down, she sensed that he was just trying to get her as close to his apartment as possible.
She was already incredibly annoyed because he was being rude and disrespectful. But she went on this coffee date anyway, which was also at night.
They ordered their drinks and sat at a table outside. Almost immediately, he asked her what her relationship was like with her father. She told him that it was fine.
He turned to the side as if talking to someone else and muttered something about how “hot girls always have daddy issues.” Then, he faced her again, ready to fire another insanely inappropriate question at her.
He asked her if she was into women and explained that his ex-girlfriend had cheated on him with another woman. He wanted to make sure this wouldn’t be an issue in their relationship.
Jasmine told him that she wasn’t into women. Again, he turned to the side, whispering about how hot it would be to see her with a woman.

She was growing more and more uncomfortable by the second and was trying her best to end the date. At one point, he slammed his hands down on the table and demanded that she bring her walls down immediately because he liked her, but could tell that the feeling wasn’t mutual.
Jasmine lied and said that she was interested in him out of survival. He didn’t like that answer and slammed his hands against the table once more.
He predicted that she would text him the next day and say that she didn’t want to see him again. She tried to reassure him that that wouldn’t happen.
“It is dark, we are outside sitting on a patio of a nondescript Starbucks, and it’s like pitch black in the parking lot,” said Jasmine. “And I’m like, I just need to make it to my car without alarming him.”
Thankfully, she was able to safely escape the date. Of course, the next day, she sent him the very text he had known he was going to receive.
