This year, TikToker Jaydyn (@jaydyn312) went on a total of 26 dates, and she’s talking about the worst date of them all. It happened back in March.

She met this guy on a dating app. They texted briefly before planning a last-minute sushi date. On the day of the date, he even called her on his way home from work.

When they met up at the restaurant, he patted his pants pockets as they walked in together and exclaimed that he had forgotten his wallet at home. Jaydyn said it was okay and that she didn’t mind paying.

They sat down at a table and started chatting. Suddenly, he looked at her and blurted out that he needed to tell her something. She jokingly asked if he had kids.

His dating profile hadn’t mentioned anything about that. He said that he did, which made Jaydyn feel embarrassed for joking around.

He told her a little bit about his kids and then revealed that he used to be married. He’s not married anymore because he cheated on his wife with an engaged girl at the gym.

His wife found out about the affair a week after it happened and was willing to work on rebuilding their relationship. She required him to stop seeing and talking to that girl, but he couldn’t stop.

The girl that he cheated with got pregnant but terminated the pregnancy at 16 weeks. He was happy not to have two baby mamas. He dated that girl for a year before breaking up in January. Jaydyn thought he was so egotistical and full of himself.

At one point, he showed her a picture of a big balloon, which was in celebration of his being sober for two years. She congratulated him.

Then, he asked what her type was. He told her about his type, even though she hadn’t asked. He stared at her to analyze her face shape, causing her to squirm uncomfortably.

He asked her if she had gotten ready for the date. She said that she had curled her hair and put on some mascara since she wasn’t a big makeup person.

He thought it was a red flag because it meant she wasn’t interested or putting in effort for the first date. The only thing he really had going for him was that he was actually more attractive in person than on his profile.

“I don’t care if that’s my one red flag compared to your like 20 red flags, you know, I win,” said Jaydyn. “So then I was like, okay, I’m never going to see this guy again.”

The worst part was toward the end of the date. He asked her if she had ever said any slurs, and of course, she told him no. But he tried to get her to say some slurs in public because he thought it was hot.

The date lasted two and a half hours. Thankfully, she didn’t have to pay for the date because he was able to use his phone. A couple of days later, he texted her, and she told him that their morals and ethics did not align, so it wasn’t going to work out. She never heard from him again.

“It took me a while to recover from that, but my mindset around it all was this is pretty bad, so it can only get better from here,” she said.
