TikToker Mia (@morelikemii) went on a date with a guy who argued with her the entire time. For the first 10 to 15 minutes of the date, he would not stop talking about himself.
He lived in Europe, played professional soccer, owned businesses, and built a house. Apparently, he also liked to do “social experiments” and has gone viral online for them. When she asked about the social experiments, he refused to elaborate.
“I wanted to leave, but I stayed because I was intrigued by him and his delusions,” said Mia.
“So, anyway, we get into the subject about misogyny and female empowerment, and he is saying the most outlandish, crazy stuff.”
He claimed that men weren’t functioning in their masculine energy anymore and that he had lost friends for being too much in their feminine energy.
For example, he was supposed to do business with a guy, but he ran to his girlfriend when he was upset.
He also said that he wanted to have children and provide for them. He expected the woman to take care of the children. Then, he asked Mia if she wanted to have kids someday.
She told him that there was no point in having kids with someone who expected her to do all the work of being a parent.
She also had her own goals to achieve and wanted to work as well.

In the comments section, many TikTok users could relate to Mia’s experience and shared similar bad dating stories to let her know she was not alone in this.
“I stopped trying to reason with those types of men. They don’t want to change their views, and there’s nothing you can say that will land with them,” stated one user.
“I told a guy I wasn’t interested after we had a phone call, and at first, everything was fine. But then, when I told him I may want to get my doctorate, his response was, ‘Oh, we’ll decide that,’ and then he tried to explain to me what a doctorate is and how it takes so long to get. He said some other things, too, and that was it,” commented another.
“I feel like the phrase ‘social experiment’ is just an immediate no, like if I hear you say that, no matter the context, I already know it ain’t worth hearing,” chimed in someone else.
“I went on a couple of dates with a guy who talked nonstop about himself and even said he knows he’s talking about himself too much, but still didn’t stop. I gave him the second chance, thinking maybe he was just nervous on the first date, but no. On two dates, I didn’t get a word in, and he didn’t ask me a single question, but I know his whole life story. It was unbearable,” added a fourth.
