One time, TikToker Faith (@faithisntcool) went to urgent care for an upper respiratory infection. The nurse seemed normal, but when the doctor came in, he was something else.

He was wearing normal clothes and a lanyard. He did not have on a white coat, a stethoscope, or anything else to indicate that he was a medical professional.

Upon seeing her, the first thing he said was that she had a rough childhood.

Then, he sat down, pulled out his phone, and showed her a picture of himself 100 pounds heavier than he currently was. He asked her if she wanted to know how he lost the weight.

He immediately answered in a sarcastic tone that he ate a Reese’s peanut butter cup and potato chips every day.

He went on and on about his weight loss for a while. Finally, he prescribed her a medication called Wellbutrin and left the room.

He didn’t talk to her about her upper respiratory infection at all, and she ended up having to go to a different urgent care to receive the proper treatment.

After she left, she tried to look this doctor up on the website, but couldn’t find him. To this day, she still wonders who he is.

Some TikTok users joked that she had been under the care of Dr. House, while others shared similar experiences with strange medical professionals.

“My aunt was in the hospital, and a man from the ‘skin team’ came to do a full body check and look for any signs of bed sores or infection or whatever. Turns out there was no skin team. She still has no idea who he was,” commented one user.

“We saw a hematologist for my son, and he definitely had the same vibe. Just said, do you mind if I use AI to record our conversation? He looked like he came straight from a bonfire with his buddies,” wrote another.

“Reminds me of the time I had an intake appointment with a therapist who wore a Hawaiian shirt every day and sunglasses indoors. His office was covered in pop art of Freud, and he asked me to lie down on the couch,” added a third.
