Five years ago, TikToker Elizabeth Rose (@mamabearrose19) met the woman her ex-husband left her for. So, for the past four years, her husband’s female coworker kept getting him expensive gifts for Christmas.
This is the woman he is now with. The company they worked at did a Christmas gift exchange every year.
Elizabeth’s husband wanted to get her something equivalent in return. Elizabeth worked at a spa, so she suggested that he give her a gift card for a massage or to get her nails done.
“Little did I know that those two were in cahoots secretly behind my back, and I did not know this for a few months,” said Elizabeth.
“The first day I met her, she was super sweet to my face, but I could just tell something was off.”
A few days later, Elizabeth and her family took the kids to a drive-in movie theater for New Year’s Eve, and her husband invited the coworker without consulting her.
She just showed up, and the kids were immediately drawn to her. Elizabeth hung out with her and got to know her, but was still unsure about her.
Elizabeth and her husband had been together for 11 years and married for eight at that point. They had always had a certain level of trust between each other.
But as time passed, he stopped letting her have access to his phone or answer phone calls. It also got to the point where he was going out with his coworkers multiple times a week without asking her, while she stayed home and took care of the kids.

One day, he told her that he would be home two hours late from work. But he still wasn’t back after three hours. Her instincts told her to check Facebook, and she saw that he and his female coworker were both active online every hour.
She got the feeling that they were together because the coworker had been on her radar for a while. Elizabeth tried calling him several times, but he never picked up. He finally returned at 8 p.m.
“In my gut, I knew something was wrong,” Elizabeth said. “So, he comes stumbling home drunk. This man does not drink at all. He wasn’t crazy drunk, but you could smell it on him.”
He was irritated and didn’t want to talk to her. He told her to leave him alone in a harsh tone. She got angry and left the house for three hours. That night, she returned and gave him her wedding ring.
Eventually, once she found solid proof of the affair, she told the kids that the marriage was over. Her ex-husband and the coworker are still together to this day.
