Dating in Nashville, Tennessee, is rough, according to TikToker Rachel (@rachellpiercee). She matched with a guy on a dating app. They were having very minimal conversation.

Finally, he asked her out to dinner. They also planned to see the Christmas lights near where he lived. She told him that she would drive the 45 minutes to him, but he insisted on picking her up because that’s what a “real man” does.

He was in Nashville for work. Within three minutes of the drive, he had already revealed that he had to stay in Nashville until February because he had to go to court for a DUI. Apparently, he had gotten too drunk at a bar and slept in his car with his keys on the dashboard.

During the date, he mentioned that he was once a fiancé. His engagement had ended eight months ago. Overall, the date went well and lasted seven or eight hours.

Two nights later, she went to his place. They went to the store to pick up some food. He held her hand, opened doors for her, and even bought her flowers. She spent the night watching Netflix with him.

When he logged onto the streaming service, a girl’s name popped up. It was his ex-fiancée. Rachel asked why her name was still there. He told her that he just hadn’t changed it yet.

Rachel didn’t think much of it. The next morning, he left for work. She folded his laundry before she left. As she was folding the laundry, she found two baby socks and a kids’ beach towel.

“I go home that morning, and I’m like, something in my stomach is off,” said Rachel.

“I need to look up this girl. So, I looked her up, and they literally have family photos from not even a month ago.”

Rachel texted him to confront him, and he admitted that he had two kids. He still insisted that he was broken up with his ex-fiancée. That night, she went back to his place to talk about it. He had to leave soon to see his kids for three weeks.

They talked on the phone every night he was gone. Everything seemed just fine. Three weeks later, he returned to Nashville. Rachel went to see him, but he ended up falling asleep. On their date the next day, he spent the whole time on his phone and even left her alone for seven minutes.

One night, he started saying that he didn’t care about anything, even if Rachel got up and left him. So, she left and deleted him from her contacts list, not wanting to waste any more of her time.

Four days later, she saw his ex-fiancée and the mother of his kids on her social media feed. Rachel messaged her, and she spilled all the lies he had told her.

He had slept with countless women while he was dating Rachel, and he seemed to have a complicated on-and-off relationship with his ex-fiancée.

“So, all I have to say here is don’t trust men,” Rachel concluded. “Definitely don’t trust men who travel for work. There’s probably been eight million girls…so that’s disgusting and everything was a lie.”
