While TikToker Katie (@cutiewillis) and her boyfriend were shopping at a cosmetics store, a girl tried to hit on her boyfriend. He was smelling some of the men’s fragrances, and Katie was browsing the perfumes, so they were both within the same area.
Katie noticed a girl who kept glancing over at her boyfriend. He was completely oblivious and was off in his own world, looking at colognes.
At first, Katie didn’t think anything of the girl. She was having a good time shopping. At one point, she brought over a perfume for her boyfriend to smell.
It was very obvious that they were a couple. When Katie walked a very short distance away to throw out her perfume sample, the girl decided to make her move. She strutted up to Katie’s boyfriend, held up a perfume sample to his nose, and asked if he liked the smell.
He immediately backed away and told her to ask his girlfriend, Katie, what she thought of it. Katie walked over and intercepted the sample.
She then directed the girl over to a better-smelling scent, pointing to a perfume that was far away in another aisle. The girl was looking at her with fear in her eyes and walked away.
“She waited until I was turned away, even though I was secretly looking because I’m crazy, so I don’t know—that was wild; I thought that was so audacious,” said Katie.
After walking around the store for a little bit, the girl came back and started trying to follow Katie’s boyfriend. Katie didn’t know what her end goal was, but in her eyes, that girl was behaving ridiculously. Overall, Katie was proud of herself for not flying into a rage and getting herself banned from the store.
In the comments section, many TikTok users agreed that the girl was way out of line and praised Katie for handling the situation so well.

They even shared their own stories about other women trying to flirt with their husbands.
“She knew what she was doing. Also, good on your boyfriend for not feeding into it,” commented one user.
“Girl, my husband took me shopping at Home Goods, and some little twat came up to us, pushed past me, and asked my husband to buy her a purse. He looked at her and turned right around to me, saying, ‘Can you believe that?’ Did not even respond to her,” shared another.
“This girl who was my husband’s friend’s wife literally sat next to me and then leaned across the table to ‘see how big your hands are to mine,'” added a third.
“My husband told me a girl was flirting with him at work (liquor store), and when I asked did he tell her he was engaged (at the time), he said that he got her kicked out. He explained that while she was flirting, he cut her off with, ‘I don’t think you’re old enough to be in here. Can I see your ID?’ and got her kicked out for being under 21,” wrote someone else.
