One day, TikToker Wendy (@wendyymak) was having dinner with her dad when she received a phone call from the neighbor’s wife, who was at the airport. Wendy has the craziest neighbors.
For context, the husband was in a standoff with the SWAT team for about eight hours one day. When Wendy came home from work, she couldn’t get into her own house.
She had to break in through the back fence to get her dogs out because they had already been indoors for 10 hours.
Also, one of their son’s friends somehow found a stick of dynamite, lit it, and tried to put out the fuse in the kitchen sink. But the fuse cannot be put out with water, so he ended up blowing his hand off and had to regrow his fingers for a month.
So, the neighbor’s wife called Wendy while she was having dinner with her dad about 20 to 30 minutes away. She told Wendy that she was watching her drunk husband on the cameras around their house.
She breeds Pomeranians, and he had opened all the doors, so the dogs were escaping. She owned around 10 dogs.
Wendy decided to call her mom, who lived just eight minutes away. She headed over right away to assess the situation. Wendy and her dad drove home about 15 to 20 minutes later.
She called her mom to see what was going on. Her mom answered, but was too busy to talk. She put the phone in her fanny pack without hanging up, which is a frequent habit of hers.
So, Wendy was able to listen to what was happening. She heard her mom talking to the neighbor and telling him to put the dogs in the house and close the doors.

Meanwhile, he was trying to flirt with her and said that he would spoil her if she were his girlfriend. Wendy and her dad were cracking up in the car, listening to their conversation.
Finally, her mom picked up her phone again. She told Wendy that she had managed to rein in three Pomeranians and was chasing down more of them. When Wendy turned onto her street, she saw a ton of dogs everywhere, and they were all freaking out.
Her mom got the neighbor into the house and put him to bed. Everything seemed quiet, but 30 minutes later, Wendy heard more commotion going on outside.
“He’s yelling at a neighbor, he’s in his driveway, he’s smashing beer bottles in his driveway,” said Wendy. “He keeps going in and out of the house, in and out, in and out, leaving the door open, leaving the garage door open.”
“I’m just kind of keeping an eye out because the woman who called me, she’s at the airport, and when she called me, she was boarding a plane to fly from California to Idaho.”
The neighbor was getting progressively more violent. Suddenly, Wendy heard a drone fly over her house. Then, she started hearing a helicopter.
She went to her backyard and watched the scene unfold. Her neighbor was standing in the floodlight in his front yard, yelling at someone.
The SWAT team showed up and arrested him. She ran over and spoke to the sheriff. Right then, the wife called her, and Wendy had to tell her that her husband had been arrested.
The wife asked her to close up the house. Wendy opened the door and saw shattered glass everywhere, along with eight Pomeranians.
She corralled the dogs into the backyard. There appeared to be a total of 15 dogs in the backyard. The wife said that she didn’t have that many dogs.
Not only do the neighbors have Pomeranians, but they also own a Belgian Malinois and a German Shepherd. After Wendy finally took care of the dogs, the wife asked her to check the house because her husband had started a fire.
Sure enough, there was a tea towel on top of the electric stove that was completely burnt. She turned off the stove and then noticed two empty birdcages with the doors wide open.
The birds had most likely flown away. There weren’t any feathers on the ground, so the dogs must not have gotten to them.
Afterward, Wendy went home and sat in silence for hours. She hopes some good karma will come back to her for being a stellar neighbor.
