Many years ago, TikToker @runes_and_ravens woke up to the sound of footsteps in her bedroom in the middle of the night. When she looked up, she saw a man in a white T-shirt walking around the room.
At first, she thought it was her husband, Josh, but then she realized that Josh was sleeping in bed next to her.
When she looked back over, the man in the white T-shirt was gone. She chalked it all up to a dream and lay back down. But she heard a noise again. To her left, the man in the white T-shirt was leaning over Josh’s nightstand and peeking through the blinds into the backyard.
She blinked hard and turned over, thinking that she was having some sort of hallucination or was in sleep paralysis. Josh woke up, and she asked him if he could see a man in a white T-shirt walking around the room. He tried to calm her down and reassure her that nothing was there.
Suddenly, he shot up and said that he saw the man by the door. They both got up to check on the kids and make sure the doors were locked.
After a while, they went back to bed. They left the lights on to make themselves feel better. They lay in bed for about 15 minutes before Josh finally rolled over and turned off the lights.
Soon, @runes_and_ravens fell asleep and started dreaming. She dreamt that she was in a truck on the highway, and she was approaching a turn. A bunch of people were lined up outside and appeared to be trying to tell her something. She ignored them and turned right.
“Suddenly, in real life, I feel a hand clap over my mouth and start pulling me, and I feel like I’m being pulled,” said @runes_and_ravens.
“But I realize as I open my eyes, I’m not being pulled out of bed. I’m being pulled out of my body into the astral realm.”
She tried to scream, but she was in sleep paralysis, so she couldn’t really do anything about it. She hoped Josh would hear her and wake up. Within about a minute, he woke up and said that whatever it was had gone.
However, the thing was not completely gone. It lingered around the room, but didn’t do anything. The next morning, she got the kids up for school. She was by her daughter’s bed when she heard whistling.
They both thought it was Josh, even though he didn’t whistle like that.
He was in the kitchen making coffee and claimed that he hadn’t been whistling at all. After the kids went to school, @runes_and_ravens came home and burned sage throughout the house.
