TikToker @txcstories tells stories and confessions submitted anonymously by her followers. In one story, a woman found out that her husband was cheating on her with her therapist.

What’s ironic is that she actually started therapy to work through her feelings about her husband’s infidelity.

She has always been a private person, so even in therapy, she didn’t feel comfortable giving out the real names of people in her life to her therapist. So, she referred to everyone by their aliases.

“Looking back, my therapist asked an unusual amount of questions about my husband, like an uncomfortable amount, but I’ve never had therapy before, so as weird as it felt and as uncomfortable as it felt, I never questioned it,” narrated @txcstories.

“I just answered them using his alias. But then, about a month into therapy, my husband actually came to me and accused me of having an affair with the alias name that I’d given him.”

From then on, their relationship started getting worse. She kept going to therapy, but during one session, her therapist slipped and called her husband by his real name.

“At that point, my blood went cold because I knew for a fact that I’d never used his real name,” she said. “My first thought wasn’t that they were having an affair.”

“My first thought was that my therapist was stalking me and that I wasn’t getting out of this session alive today. I genuinely believed that she was about to end me.”

Over time, her therapist began asking more and more personal questions, such as if her husband still told her that he loved her or if he touched her at all.

Finally, she realized that her therapist wasn’t asking those questions for her well-being. Her therapist was asking them for herself because she was having an affair with her husband.

She went straight home and confronted her husband right away. He confessed to everything immediately. It turned out that the therapist had been telling him everything she was saying during her sessions.

When the therapist heard her talking about her husband using an alias, she assumed that she was having an affair and told her husband about it. Of course, she reported the therapist for her inappropriate behavior.

She found out that this therapist had specifically requested her as a patient. Now, she saw everything in a different light. The therapist had been pushing sleeping pills and giving terrible advice. She always made her question herself and not her husband.

“I feel like now she was trying to break me from the inside out because she knew that he would never be the one to leave,” said @txcstories. “Well, she lost everything: her job, her reputation, my husband.”
