“Her senses are not what they use to be. She cannot hear very well; she was sleeping in the street and someone ran over her. One of the people on the street, treated her mangled tail with hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin and left her to die.”
“She has pellets riddled all over her body,” they continued in their post shortly after Coco was transferred to their care.
“She has a screw and rocks in her stomach. Her tail had to be amputated. She has NEVER had a soft bed. She has never had a human love her.”

It’s sad that she spent a decade or longer on the streets of Houston, and nobody tried to help her during that entire time.
Although Coco did lose her tail, she never lost her love for people and is one of the kindest dogs alive.
Now, Coco is up for adoption and looking for a new home where she can be the only dog for you to love on.
