She Left Home One Morning 16 Years Ago After Arguing With Her Parents And A Suspected Serial Killer Has Been Charged With Her Murder Even Though She Hasn’t Been Found

Initially, it seemed that perhaps Ashley’s former boyfriend could have been involved in her disappearance since everyone thought he was potentially the father of the baby.

Although that appeared to be a promising lead, he was cleared by authorities of having any involvement in what happened to her.

It was back to square one, and as the years flew by, Ashley’s case went cold.

Finally, after 16 years of Ashley being gone without a trace, there was a break in the case.

Authorities in Pennsylvania reached out to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office back in Michigan to say that they had a 43-year-old man by the name of Harold David Haulman III in their custody who had revealed some shocking things.

As he sat there in custody, Harold was already facing murder charges for taking the lives of 26-year-old Erica Shultz and 25-year-old Tianna Phillips.

He had already served time behind bars for an incident pertaining to a 1999 death in Rammstein, Germany.

While speaking to authorities, Harold explained that he knew where Ashley was buried, because he was responsible for murdering her too.

Harold had been a resident of Battle Creek, Ashley’s hometown, from 2002 to around halfway through 2009.

He told authorities that he had gotten into an argument with Ashley at a house located in Emmett Township.

“He indicated he had assaulted her, knocking her unconscious,” Calhoun County Sheriff Steve Hinkley said in a press conference.
