This Woman Was Mocked At The Gym Over Her Weight While Trying To Make A Workout Video
Chicago, Illinois. People come from many walks of life in the world. Some people are slender, some are well built, and some people suffer from health conditions that make them feel insecure about their size.
Despite all our efforts to look good, each of us is still insecure about our bodies in one way or another. No one gets the right to judge or mock someone because of that.
We are created beautifully, uniquely. And we deserve to be treated with respect.
In a world that is so often harsh and ruthless, being kind and understanding is everything.
Bullying benefits no one, and it always comes back to haunt you in some way. However, some people still need to be educated about that.
A plus-size influencer took to TikTok to post a video of an incident she had at the gym with a woman who mocked her as she tried to make a workout video.
The video begins with Bethy Red, the influencer, shooting herself in workout gear correcting her hair in the mirror.
Bethy censored the woman by placing a large white box over her, which seems very generous of her to have done after you hear what this woman said.

A woman then enters the studio that Bethy is standing in and asks, presumably without any provocation and in a highly sarcastic tone, “Girl, what are you doing? Are you taking videos of yourself?”
Puzzled, Bethy responds, “Yeah?”
“You are? Well, why? For your own documentation or what,” the woman responds in the most incredibly rude way you could possibly imagine.
Bethy continues to say that she is recording a video for her blog, and the woman then starts literally laughing at Bethy, before telling her to condescendingly “have fun”.
Bethy simply says, “thank you” which leads the woman to laugh mockingly at her again.
Bethy later posted a video of the heart-stopping exchange on TikTok, and she did go on to not let it bother her.
After this horribly mean girl was nasty to her, Bethy filmed the video she came there to make.
Bethy’s video has close to 7 million views right now, and people couldn’t even begin to understand what would make someone be so mean to her for no reason.
An overwhelming amount of commenters insisted that Bethy needed to post another video without the woman’s identity covered with the white square.
“Please take the big white square off. EXPOSE HER,” the number one comment on Bethy’s video demands. “This behavior is atrocious, and we can’t protect people like that.”
Bethy relented and posted a video in which she did expose the nasty woman, but she ended up removing it after people went on a witch hunt.
She claims she received messages from women who got death threats from internet users thinking they were the ones who had attacked Bethy in the gym.
“…If somebody is mean to you, for whatever reason show empathy and show kindness; that, wins,” Bethy said in a follow-up video where she pointed out the original message she was trying to share with the internet.
She added another message to everyone, she stressed: “Know who you are! You are more [than] just a body and how you look.”
Being compassionate and empathic is significantly more attractive than having a fantastic physical look. Outward beauty fades, but a loving heart never does, physical shape and size change throughout time, but in the end, we are all magnificent.
