He Bought A House With His Wife And Just Found Out That His Ex Is Their New Neighbor: He’s Seriously Concerned That Once His Ex Knows This She’s Going To Do Something For Revenge
A 42-year-old man is married to his 37-year-old wife Anna, and they recently purchased their very own home together.
He was able to get the keys to their new place yesterday, and so he drove over to the house so that he could do a few things in advance of moving in.
While he was driving past the mailbox in his new community, a woman caught his eye. He slowed his car down to look at her, and it dawned on him that he was staring at his 33-year-old ex-girlfriend Jane.
“We broke up 5 years ago, and it wasn’t cordial, or even polite,” he explained. “Bridges weren’t burned, they were nuked to oblivion.”
“A bit later as I was in my house I saw her get inside the house next to mine. I talk to my other neighbour and he confirmed that the house owner next to mine is called Jane, and a single girl in her thirties.”
“He described her as a quiet girl who mostly keep to herself but will say hi to other residents, and yeah that’s pretty much the Jane I remember.”
He thought that Jane still lived in the city that’s located around a half-hour from the house he just bought.
Jane doesn’t have any social media accounts, and Jane has always avoided his attempts to check in with her through mutual friends, so he had no way of seeing what she was up to anyway.
It’s a complete nightmare for him knowing that Jane is his new neighbor. She entirely blamed him for the end of their relationship, and Jane never got over it.

While he was in a relationship with Jane, he met Anna at work. He and Anna got very close as friends, and after they both hit some tough times in their lives, they grew closer as they supported one another.
Jane was very upset by the fact that he was growing close with Anna, and she accused him of cheating on her even though he did no such thing.
Jane still didn’t believe him and gave him an ultimatum; he had to pick her or Anna. He did reveal to Anna the ultimatum that Jane gave him, and without him knowing, Anna got a hold of Jane.
He has no idea what Anna said to Jane to this day, because Anna has refused to tell him, but Jane freaked out after Anna said what she did and kicked him out of their place.
Since he didn’t have anywhere to go, he went to stay with Anna, and things progressed into more than a friendship from there.
“And to not help the situation at all, Anna, my wife of 4 years, mother of my children and the cause of said misunderstanding, is incredibly insecure and jealous, especially of Jane, because of how everything went down,” he said.
“I made the mistake, once during a verbal fight of voicing my regret of losing Jane for her.”
“I apologized, but since then every time something goes the tiniest awry, I’m reminded that “I could always go to Jane instead since she’s sooooo much better.”
He and Anna saved so hard to be able to afford their new house, and since the market is insane right now, it took them forever to even find a place within their budget.
Their new home was supposed to be a fresh start for them, but it looks like it’s going to be a disaster once Jane finds out they live next door.

He’s positive that Jane is furious with him still, and he thinks she could try to cause problems for him and Anna.
As for Anna, obviously, she hates Jane and is going to have a meltdown when she finds out Jane is living next to them.
While he is certain that Jane didn’t see him yesterday since he has a beard, long hair, and was wearing sunglasses and a hat, it’s only a matter of time until she recognizes him.
“I’m afraid of what Jane could do, there’s nothing she’s not capable of to get revenge,” he continued.
“I’m even more afraid of Anna’s reaction, she’s already not in the best mental space and honestly I don’t have the energy to deal with another crisis.”
