His fiancée is furious with her friend for spilling the beans because it does seem like his fiancée had no intention of ever letting him know what went down between her and her two guy friends.
He did stop and think about everything, and he realized he really was wildly uncomfortable with his fiancée extending an invite to these guys.
He truly understands that what his fiancée did with these guys happened before he was in the picture and doesn’t impact their own relationship, but that doesn’t change how uncomfortable he is.
He is also struggling to understand why his fiancée felt the need to invite them in the first place since he would never choose to invite an ex or anyone he has ever slept with before because it’s not something a previous partner needs to be included in.
“So one of the guys is a good friend of hers and was going to be a bridesman(?) and my fiancée got upset with me,” he said.
“She told me I was being insecure and it’s not fair for her to not have her friends on her wedding day.”
He pointed out to his fiancée that their wedding is not supposed to just be a special day for her; it’s supposed to be a special day for him too.
“I told her it’s just as much my wedding day as it is hers and considering how accommodating I’ve been to her wants for an ideal wedding, it’s kinda selfish for her to not be willing to be accommodating of one request,” he continued.
“I don’t think I’d feel comfortable saying my vows when directly behind my wife-to-be is a guy who grabbed a buddy and slept with her. It’s just gross and I don’t like it.”
He’s not really sure what to do next. How would you handle this?
