She Forced Her Husband To Leave A Wedding Early Because She Was Upset He Was Talking To A Woman He Used To Date

A 27-year-old woman has been married to her 35-year-old husband for one year, and together, they have a 2-year-old child.
Back when she originally met her husband, she had a job that paid her a lot of money, and her husband did as well. She loved her job, and she was intending to resume her position after she was done with maternity leave, but she changed her mind.
“After having the baby since H (husband) made enough money, I decided to quit my job to become a SAHM,” she explained. “H wasn’t happy.”
Prior to her husband meeting her, he was dating a woman that he first got introduced to in college.
This woman is still part of her husband’s group of friends, though they never see her or hang out with her.
Recently while she and her husband got together with some of their friends, she learned that her husband “always deeply loved” his ex.
“For him, it was love at first sight back in college,” she said. “She was doing her own thing, and when they did start to date it was amazing.”
“They were incredibly compatible, also true friends, but H couldn’t get past her having a kid. They agreed to not see each other because there are too many emotions when they’re in each other’s presence.”
“I asked H about this, He was so upset that I would even mention her. He said that it’s true they don’t want to see each other, but that was long ago. He apologized, and since I know that he doesn’t talk to her I let it go.”

Fast forward to a wedding she and her husband recently attended; it was for one of her husband’s college friends, and her husband was part of the wedding party.
In the month leading up to the wedding, she asked her husband if his ex was going to be at the wedding.
He was irritated by her question and revealed that his ex most likely would be there since she was friends with his friend who was getting married.
She felt very upset by this, though she did not tell her husband and didn’t think it was her place to demand that his ex be uninvited.
“I know I can’t say who to invite but I think was tacky since they all know how ‘strong’ feelings were between them,” she continued.
“At this point though we’re fighting all the time and I’m also feeling very insecure because of weight gain & H guilting me about choosing not to work.”
Well, the day of the wedding rolled around, and as soon as she saw her husband’s ex there, she wanted to go home immediately.
“I don’t think I’m unattractive (even with the weight) but I’ll admit she’s effortlessly beautiful,” she mentioned.
“She’s one of those ‘cool’ girls that everyone migrates to, I just kept feeling bad.”

Her husband did say hi to his ex, and she was already in the middle of a conversation with someone else about the nonprofit work that she does for at-risk children.
She thought that her husband lit up and was interested in what his ex had to say, so she told her husband she wanted him to walk her to the restroom.
After they left her husband’s ex, she said to her husband that she was feeling awful about herself with his ex being at the wedding.
Her husband got irritated by what she had to say and told her that she was free to return to their hotel room if she was so bothered by this.
She then accused her husband of wanting to be at the wedding alone so he could continue to chat with his ex.
Her husband simply walked off and left her there, but she stayed at the wedding because she did not want to leave her husband by himself.
Her husband did not utter a single word to her for the rest of the time they were at the wedding, and he also has not spoken to her since the wedding, except if it involves their child.
The wedding was close to a week ago, and she’s not feeling like she did anything wrong in this situation at all.
