This Influencer Dreamed Of Purchasing Her Own Home But Could Not Afford It On Her Own: So, She Purchased A Tiny House

The “tiny house movement” has gained substantial traction over the past decade. More and more people are being wooed by the living option’s affordability, simplicity, and environmental-friendly benefits.
The influencer Elise Buch recently took the leap that tiny house enthusiasts have been promoting for years and bought her own tiny home.
Elise posted a video on her Youtube channel in which she detailed what led her to make the jump, and showed off her living space.
“I have been dreaming about and talking about getting a house for a really long time now. But, money-wise and with being single and buying a huge home, it has not really felt like that was the time,” Elise explained.
She is not alone in this sentiment. Elise is a single woman and, like many, was struggling to save up for a home by herself.
Even for couples with a dual-income, purchasing a home can be a stressful endeavor. This is why a growing amount of people are turning to tiny homes for salvation.
There are about ten thousand tiny homes located in the United States already. And, if you have not heard of this phenomenon, tiny homes typically fall between one hundred and four hundred square feet and cost an average of thirty to sixty thousand dollars.
More modest tiny homes will fall on the lower end of the spectrum, while more customized units can trend upward of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars.

Elise found a tiny home that worked for her and realized that her dreams could become a financially attainable reality.
“I’ve dreamt about having my own garden and my own space to do whatever I want. Now, I’ve bought what is apparently called an allotment garden. It is basically a wooden house with a tiny garden that I can do whatever I want with,” she said.
In her Youtube video, Elise showed off her living space, which since reached over three hundred thousand people. She explained how the previous owner left her belongings, so Elise was able to take them over.
Upon entry, her home features a sitting area with two armchairs and a sofa. Next, there is a modest kitchen and dining area with enough space for a table and four chairs. She does not yet have running water or a bathroom but plans on installing these features in the future.
For now, Elise will be staying in an apartment and using her tiny home during the summers. She hopes to make the space “hers” and visit it as frequently as possible.
“I can go here for work, for dinner, or on the weekends. I will also put a bed here, so it is possible to stay over,” Elise said, “This is going to be my place.”
Elise’s relatable and joyful video spurred tons of support from her followers. Many are ecstatic about this next, exciting step in her life.
“I am really happy for you. It is a cute little home and has lots of potential,” one follower wrote.
“Enjoy your new property, Elise. For me, there is nothing more precious than to own your space and do whatever you want with it. It is sheer bliss, and I really felt how happy you are. Blessings to you and your abode!” commented a second follower.
“Excited to see where the improvements take this tiny house. As a fellow tiny house owner, I wish you the best!” chimed in another tiny homer.
According to the National Association of Realtors, home prices have jumped 15.8 percent nationwide over the last fifteen years. So, if owning a home is an aspiration of yours, it may be a good idea to check out the tiny house market.
