Throughout his relationship, his girlfriend has consistently ignored how he has felt about certain situations and chose to always prioritize himself, which clearly has been a red flag all along.
Although he never saw that red flag waving, his family members and friends sure did. His loved ones always saw through his girlfriend, and he’s currently feeling “oblivious” to the fact that he never noticed that he bent over backward for her, yet she never did anything for him.
He’s upset with himself for taking so long to see her for what she is, yet he’s conflicted with how he can best move on.
He really did love her, even though she walked all over him and his feelings.
